Message From the Administration
St. Matthew has been very busy during this last month with numerous activities that have been made available for our students. A special thank you goes out to the teachers for volunteering their time and taking on the tasks of providing the students with opportunities to take part in Patrolling, Volleyball Teams, Running Club, Photography Club, and Choir. Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped with our school casino, family dance and came into the school to read during our Read-In-Week.
At the end of November, we will be honoring all those that suffered and/or died during the Ukrainian Holodomor (famine-genocide). Students will be participating in activities to commemorate the event with a variety of lessons. We will conclude with a school-wide memorial on November 25th.
Also, as we head into November, we look forward to celebrating your child’s successes when report cards go home on November 25th and on Thursday, December 1st when the student/parent/teacher conferences occur. It is important for our children to be proud of their successes and accomplishments as well as to recognize and identify areas and opportunities for growth and improvement.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, harmony;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek.
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
